The SX-AD8+ is a 8 Microphones/Lines Preamplifier with AES outputs and optional DANTE or AVB output

September 2026 – SX-Controller and Wi-Fi interface update
This update adds support for SX-Controller, our new remote-control software for the SONOSAX SX-AD8+, and introduces a redesigned Wi-Fi interface with improved stability.
Version 1.8 can be installed on all SX-AD8+ units, whether or not they are equipped with the Dante option. The Dante option is required only to use SX-Controller.

SX-Controller
Remote control software for the SONOSAX SX-AD8+
SX-Controller allows you to monitor and control up to 10 SX-AD8+ units connected to the same Dante network from a single computer. View input levels, access all settings for the eight channels of each unit, and lock the physical controls to prevent accidental changes.
This solution is particularly useful when several SX-AD8+ units are installed in racks, technical rooms, studios, concert halls or fixed installations.
Requirements
- SONOSAX SX-AD8+ firmware version 1.8 or later
- Dante option installed in the SX-AD8+
- Computer and SX-AD8+ units connected to the same Dante network
The Installation Guide and Troubleshooting Guide are also available directly within SX-Controller by clicking the “?” button in the top-right corner of the interface.
